Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and coordination, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including contractors, clients, and team members.

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of construction projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure timely completion of milestones. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project tracking and reporting. Prepare and review construction estimates using tools like HeavyBid. Oversee project scheduling and ensure adherence to timelines using Primavera for effective time management. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and address any issues that arise. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to guide project execution. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project operations. Maintain accurate documentation of project activities including contracts, change orders, and meeting minutes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction management or project management within the construction industry. Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Civil 3D is preferred. Familiarity with project scheduling tools including Primavera P6 is essential. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Demonstrated experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction site management.
