Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless project flow. Develop detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar project management software to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively. Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts thoroughly to ensure clarity and accuracy before project commencement. Utilize construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid and Excel to prepare accurate cost projections and manage budgets effectively. Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), submittals, and progress reports using Construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam. Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality, safety adherence, and schedule compliance. Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders through clear project coordination and timely updates.

Experience

Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong background in overseeing projects. Extensive knowledge of project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools like Schematics for detailed planning. Familiarity with construction estimating processes using HeavyBid or comparable systems to accurately forecast costs. Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings essential for precise execution. Demonstrated ability to manage contracts, subcontractors, and vendors effectively while maintaining excellent time management skills. Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols coupled with practical site experience in heavy civil or commercial construction environments. Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Excel, and Microsoft Project. Ability to lead project teams confidently while fostering collaboration across disciplines for successful project delivery.
