CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR / PROJECT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

Reading and interpreting plans, specifications and addendums Accurately estimate labor hours, material quantities and equipment needs, and then price accordingly for concrete, masonry, earthwork and carpentry for hard-bid projects, as well as, design-build projects Solicit subcontractor/material supplier pricing for all divisions of work per project requirements

Experience & Characteristics

Must be a team player, detail-oriented with strong computer skills and be able to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment 3+ years of experience in commercial estimating of both public and private projects Demonstrate prioritization, organization and time management skills Ability to interact with Architects, Designers and Owners Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and work independently with minimal supervision Monday thru Friday 8 to 4.30 (40 hours week )
