Job Description

A Construction Project Manager specializing in interior building and renovation of commercial and multifamily projects is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of interior construction work to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans focused on interior renovations and fit-outs.
Team Coordination: Manage subcontractors, vendors, designers, and on-site crews involved in interior construction.
Budget Management: Monitor costs, control expenses, and handle change orders related to finishes, MEP systems, and other interior components.
Quality Control: Ensure interior work (e.g., drywall, flooring, cabinetry, lighting, HVAC finishes) meets design specs and code compliance.
Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, property owners, and tenants regarding project updates and issues.
Permitting & Inspections: Coordinate with local authorities to secure permits and pass inspections related to interior buildouts.
Safety Oversight: Enforce jobsite safety protocols, particularly in occupied buildings or tight renovation environments.

Ideal Candidate - Construction Project Manager (Interiors: Commercial & Multifamily)A strong candidate has 5+ years of experience managing interior construction and renovation projects in commercial (offices, retail, hospitality) and multifamily (unit turns, amenity upgrades) settings. They are skilled at delivering high-quality interior spaces on time and on budget, often in occupied or fast-paced environments.
Key Strengths:
Expertise in interior scopes: finishes, MEP tie-ins, lighting, flooring, cabinetry, and drywall.
Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, change orders, and vendor coordination.
Strong leadership and communication with subcontractors, clients, and tenants.
Experience with construction tech (Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, etc.).
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of local codes, permitting, and inspection processes.

Offer Overview:
Base Salary: $110,000 to $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Car Allowance: $600 per month to cover vehicle-related expenses.
Cell Phone Allowance: $75 per month to cover mobile phone costs.
