job summary:
A QA/ QC Project Engineer is needed for a leading construction organization in the Mesa, AZ metro area (near Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport). The QA/ QC Project Engineer is responsible for insuring overall project quality and the implementation of daily quality procedures to meet project standards and requirements. This position works closely with the project team, subcontractors, consultants, and owner representatives to coordinate construction activities and manage quality trades and processes.

Qualified candidates must have 3+ of QC/QC Project Engineer position should have 3 years\' of management or field construction experience on large GC projects. A Bachelor\'s degree in construction management, engineering, or related is required. Proficiency with BIM360 is highly desired. This is a direct-hire role, and relocation is available for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with project team, subcontractors, consultants, and owner representatives for clear communication and coordination; Conduct accurate inspections with trade partners before and after inspections

• Ensure proper documentation and installation of work to meet high-quality standards and support the project schedule, working closely with trade partners

• Review installations and mockups with owner, client, and architect to ensure compliance with quality processes, procedures, and expectations

• Read and understand construction plans and specifications, identifying errors or redundancies for resolution by others

• Provide leadership and take ownership of trade management for yourself and other QA/QC Engineers; Oversee the quality team, supporting documentation and office-based responsibilities to meet construction schedules and specific QA/QC programs
