Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of construction processes and project management principles.

Duties

Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Utilize construction management software such as Project Professional and Primavera P6 for project tracking and reporting. Conduct construction estimating to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to facilitate project execution. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications. Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to stay on schedule. Perform site visits to assess progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to safety standards. Implement effective time management strategies to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to project status and performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in construction management software including Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera. Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques and project scheduling methodologies. Experience with Civil 3D is a plus. Previous experience in construction site roles or related positions is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Knowledge of contracts and compliance regulations within the construction industry.
