Job Description


The key responsibilities of the Project Engineer II, Assure all projects are built to drawings and specification. Handle the distribution and coordination of all RFIs, Submittals and Change Orders.

  • Providing technical support to construction staff
  • Review plans and documents
  • Monitor costs and project progress
  • Oversee submittals and RFIs
  • Assist Project Manager in day to day functions
  • Answer questions regarding scope of work
  • Visit job sites occasionally to check on project progress
  • Help produce project schedules
  • Track status of change orders
  • Maintain project close out documents
  • Other duties as assigned depending on Project Manager or direct supervisor

  • Associate\'s or Bachelor\'s Degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
  • 1-3+ years of experience working with a construction general contractor
  • Tech savvy individual; working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam a plus
  • Ability to commute within a 40 mile radius of Columbus depending on project location
  • Co-op or internship experience working with a general contractor preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
