Construction Planning Assistant

to support our estimating and coordination teams in a full-time, in-person role.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $63,000 - $84,000 based on experience Quarterly performance bonuses 7.5 paid holidays + paid time off Health and dental coverage after 60 days 401(k) with company match after 1 year Advancement and growth opportunities

Role Overview

This is a hands-on role that supports construction planning, estimating, and project execution. Ideal for someone with experience in commercial construction who enjoys working with both numbers and people. Responsibilities may include:

Reviewing construction plans and specifications Performing quantity takeoffs and preparing cost estimates Assisting with bid documentation and planning schedules Communicating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams Supporting budget tracking, material procurement, and project timelines Organizing and maintaining internal documentation

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction estimating, project coordination, or planning Strong skills in Excel, Outlook, and general office software Experience with construction tools like Bluebeam or On-Screen Takeoff is a plus Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time onsite High school diploma or equivalent required

Work Environment

Full-time, Monday through Friday Office-based with occasional visits to local job sites W-2 position (not remote or contract work)
