Position Summary
We're seeking a

Construction Operations Assistant

to support day-to-day operations across Healy's nationwide project portfolio. This is a hands-on, dynamic role involving both field and office work. The position reports directly to Healy's Director of Construction and works closely with Project Managers to help coordinate and oversee active projects.

Field Responsibilities

Provide temporary jobsite coverage for Superintendents Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Deliver materials and equipment locally and in the Midwest region using company pickup or box truck Assist with punch list completion and closeout activities at job sites nationwide Travel frequently (including short notice trips) ranging from one night to two weeks

Office Responsibilities

Solicit bids from subcontractors and vendors Coordinate and schedule subcontractors for multiple projects Assist with project documentation, schedules, and material procurement Support Project Managers and general operations tasks

Technology & Software

Experience with

Procore

is preferred Strong skills in

Microsoft Excel

Qualifications

Experience in construction management, field supervision, or a related role Ability to read and understand blueprints Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Strong communication and problem-solving skills Clean driving record and ability to travel extensively with short notice College degree preferred but not required
