Provide overall construction management through all facets of the pre-construction, bid and award, construction, and close- out phase of all assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinates 60%, 90% and 100% design drawing reviews with hospital administration and facilities for completeness and provides comments to the design team.
Oversee daily construction activities and site operations for the hospital.
Supervise contractors and site personnel, resolving issues promptly to avoid delays.
Plans, organizes, and prepares reports to upper management with respect to the status and/or progress of the projects
Manages both the project budget and schedule to meet the hospital's qualitative standards;
Monitors project budget on a monthly basis and ensures that the budget accurately reflects the project status.
Manages daily activities of the contractor, reviews contractors' construction schedules and submittals, and coordinates responses to the contractors' inquiries thru the RFI process.
Receives, reviews, and negotiates Contractor Change Order Proposals to achieve a fair and reasonable price in accordance with the General Conditions. Reviews and addresses schedule impacts in accordance with the project specifications in a timely manner
Monitors and manages project close-out with respect to project certification with the Division of State Architects (DSA) Inspector of Record (IOR) and project financial close out

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Experience:

At least 5-10 years in
construction

Proven track record managing
vertical projects. Medical or public works preferred
Hands-on involvement with
HVAC
systems
in large-scale facilities.
