JOB SUMMARY- CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Construction Manager plans, manages, and supervises the execution of company projects. IDES requires self-starters with the discipline and experience to complete tasks with minimal oversight. If you thrive in a fast-paced and diverse work environment, this is a great fit!
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and municipal agencies to ensure timely project execution and completion.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure alignment with client expectations and company standards.
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications.
Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate risks proactively, resolving issues efficiently to maintain project momentum.
Support the preparation of bid packages, contract documents, and procurement strategies.
Ensure all construction activities are executed in accordance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
Our staff and team are front line with our clients and project team partners; the ability and enjoyment of developing and managing those relationships is a must.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training certification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing land development or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, permitting processes, and project lifecycle management.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
