Purpose:

The Construction Manager reports to the Senior Construction Manager.
Accurate and safe construction of Clearnetworx's network to our standards is vital to our success. Clearnetworx's Construction Manager is the face for its construction in markets and market expansion. They are the boots-on-the-ground for Clearnetworx while working with their assigned OSP inspectors to ensure that construction of our network is built safely and to the required standards and specifications.

It is therefore important for the Construction Manager to work with their OSP Inspectors and be the point of contact when issues need to be elevated while working with customer complaints and QA/QC concerns.
This role requires considerable field time to ensure that subcontractors/in-house crews are effectively and professionally implementing the installation of CN fiber network.
Scope:
Review and fully understand the contracts and requirements of each project.
Execute project work plans, schedules, and control budgets as well as working with the Project Operations and Project Controls Managers in identifying and acquiring additional resources if/when needed
Assign individual duties to its OSP Inspectors (if/when applicable)
Manage the day-to-day field operational aspects of its assigned project(s) to ensure on-time and under budget project completion.
Meet with Project Operations and Project Controls Managers to give progress updates, answer questions, and manage requested changes to project plans.
Manage the decisions on the scope and delivery of the project including serving as a technical expert in interpreting the specification of the project.
Communicate requirements and specifications to its assigned resources (both subcontractors and internal team)
Serve as the project spokesperson when necessary by developing relationships and facilitating communication, updates, and meetings with municipalities, HOA's, and residents/businesses
Ensure contract, permit and authorization compliance, as applicable.
Review and approve daily production reports submitted to home office.
Maintain day-to-day communication with the Project Operations & Project Controls Managers
Produce quality results in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Perform and assign locates if/when applicable and necessary
Represent Clearnetworx professionally to satisfy immediate customer needs and to foster return business.
Respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in person, and to verbal or written instructions.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.
Maintain regular, consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance according to company policies.
Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role and those of the project team.
Adhere to company policies, regulations, procedures, and principles.
Train and lead OSP's to grow and assume greater responsibility.
Spend time in the field/on jobsites to handle problems proactively and address issues in real time.
Work with in-house and subcontractor crews to present a professional image to the community at large.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
