Cockram Construction, a globally recognized construction services business with over 150 years of history, is seeking a dedicated Project Controls Specialist to join our team in the US. We focus on delivering top-level services in high-tech and challenging industries, particularly in the Pharmaceutical/Bio-Tech and Themed/Attraction sectors.

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven

Construction Manager

for a critical, high-intensity

three-month

project located

on-site in Bristol, Rhode Island

. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to lead an entire construction effort in a focused, accelerated timeframe. We anticipate this project to conclude at the end of February 2026.

Key Responsibilities

As the On-Site Construction Manager, you will be solely responsible for the successful execution and closure of this three-month project. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

On-Site Leadership:

Serve as the primary point of contact and authority on the job site in Bristol, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Schedule Management:

Develop, manage, and rigorously adhere to the project timeline, ensuring all milestones are met within the tight

three-month constraint

.

Safety & Compliance:

Implement and enforce a comprehensive safety program and ensure compliance with all state and local

Rhode Island building codes

.

Subcontractor Coordination:

Manage, direct, and schedule all subcontractors and vendors, ensuring seamless coordination and productivity.

Quality Control (QC):

Oversee all installation and construction activities, conducting regular quality checks against plans and specifications.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed daily logs, progress reports, RFI logs, and proactively communicate project status to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Construction Manager or Site Superintendent. Proven track record of successfully managing and closing projects, especially those with aggressive, short-term deadlines. Strong knowledge of construction methods, practices, scheduling, and local building codes, preferably with experience in

Rhode Island

. Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to be

on-site full-time in Bristol, RI

for the entire three-month duration. OSHA 30-Hour certification is a plus.
