Summary:

Works under general supervision of the foreman and is responsible to assure the proper, safe, efficient, timely completion of landscape installation projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Valid driver license a plus.
Language Skills
Some ability to read, write and comprehend English. Ability to read, write and comprehend Spanish, a plus.
Specialize Skills
Mathematical Skills Basic to intermediate math.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Interpretation of blueprints, schematics, specifications, materials, take-offs, as builds and controller charts. Layout, installation, piping and control wiring Installation of landscape, IE paths, fences, courtyards, structures. Operation, care, use and maintenance of all hand tools, power tools and construction equipment related to trade Application of methods and techniques of handling, distributing Storage and delivery of material and equipment. Soil amendments, treatment and Tilling Layout, installation and establishment of plants, trees, shrubs, ground covers, turf, plant identification, etc. Application of job safety and rigging and moving loads. Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands/ Working Conditions

Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walk safely on Construction Sites including uneven ground. Must be able to see at close vision, distant vision, peripherally, have depth perception and can adjust focus. Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls Duties are performed outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to lift 50 lbs. of weight frequently throughout the day. Ability to frequently bend, stoop, lift, push and pull materials and equipment to complete job tasks. Ability to frequently work in various positions including, but not limited to, standing, walking, stooping, bending, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods.

Pay range: $20.00 - $25.00
