Job Description

PAF Excavation is growing and looking for a dependable Laborer to join our field team. This is a hands-on role that supports excavation crews with site prep, trenching, pipe installation, grading, and general jobsite tasks. We work on residential, commercial, municipal, and development projects across South Central Indiana.

Responsibilities

Support equipment operators and foremen on active job sites Perform site prep, material handling, and job cleanup Assist with trenching, backfilling, spotting machines, and grade checking Install pipe, drainage structures, stone, and other materials Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area Operate small tools and equipment as needed Perform other duties assigned by the foreman or project manager
Requirements

Reliable and able to work outdoors in all conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to learn and support a team environment Previous construction or excavation experience helpful but not required

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
