Duties

Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials to ensure smooth workflow Carry and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment around the job site safely and efficiently Support skilled workers by holding or handing over tools, equipment, or materials as needed during various construction tasks Help with basic tasks such as mixing concrete, digging trenches, or installing temporary supports under supervision Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout the project Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during work activities Assist with loading and unloading supplies from trucks or storage areas to ensure timely availability of materials Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay informed about best practices and site-specific procedures

Skills

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long durations Ability to follow instructions carefully while working under supervision in a team environment Good communication skills to understand directions and coordinate with team members effectively Attention to safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a hazard-free work zone Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment; prior experience is a plus but not required--training will be provided Willingness to learn new skills quickly and adapt to changing project needs Reliable attendance record with a strong work ethic focused on punctuality and quality workmanship

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
