Conduct inspections at sites and facilities damaged by disasters to determine and document the extent of disaster related damages. Measure facilities and components of facilities using the most efficient tools Document grant applicants' damage claims through a Site Inspection Report (SIR), a Damage Description and Dimensions (DDD) and by capturing Essential Elements of Information (EEI). Compile documentation and enters data into FEMA's Grant Manager software. Experience in EMMIE, CostWorks and RS Means is a plus. Provides customer service to assigned applicants throughout the PA grant management process. Coordinates with numerous stakeholders, such as recipients and subrecipients, to complete PA grants Provides good customer service to applicants through prompt follow-up and a professional demeanor. 5+ years' experience as a Building Inspector, Construction Manager, or related position or 10 years or more without a degree Prior experience working FEMA Public Assistance required Have great customer service Experience in utilities required
