Job Description

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Construction Inspector for our Wall and Camden, NJ locations.

Responsibilities

Providing daily on-site inspection of construction work to ensure the project is in compliance with plans and specification. Observe field work to ensure workmanship and materials used meet standards. Monitor and prepare daily documentation recording materials, construction activity, equipment, and manpower on various project sites. Conduct tests to verify material properties for various construction materials including soil, concrete and asphalt. Review construction plans and compare with observations to verify that materials and equipment conform with contract documents. Keep organized and up to date project files

Required Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry or performing construction inspection Experience with Microsoft Office Candidate should be motivated, organized, and willing to work in the field Reliable transportation to and from construction sites in varying locations. Able to traverse construction sites ACI Grade 1 Field Technician or Certification to operate nuclear density gauge.

Preferred Qualifications

New Jersey DCA Certification is highly preferred Bachelor's degree (or Current Enrollment) from an accredited school of Civil Engineering Associate's degree (or Current Enrollment) in Engineering related curriculum EIT and/or NICET II Plus Certifications NJSAT Lab or Field Testing

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $45,000 to $75,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education, skill set and location.
