Construction Inspector- Hospital Renovation - Location: Randalls Island



We are seeking a Construction Inspector to join the Construction Management team overseeing a major

hospital rehabilititaion and renovation project

on behalf of the State of New York. Client is OGS Office of General Services.

Responsibilities:
Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications Inspect all material upon arrival to the jobsite to ensure compliance Review plans to identify potential violations Document inspections and report any issues Determine the quality of materials being used throughout testing

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management a plus Minimum six (6) years of experience in building construction trades Minimum four (4) years of experience as a Construction Inspector including inspection of site/civil is required. OSHA 30 hr. Proficiency with web-based submittal collaboration systems Construction scheduling knowledge to support project team Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications Strong written and oral communication skills Collaborate with multiple team members Ability and coordination to safely maneuver around a construction site

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment Compensation: Min $80,000 to $110,000 The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.

Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates' qualifications and location
