Construction Inspector
Job Description
Interprets plans and specifications, inspect work, coordinates with clients, assists with conflict resolution, verify quantities, prepares weekly reports, verifies construction is consistent with plans and specifications.
Candidate needs to be competent in reading plans, specifications, and codes.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Not less than 3 years in highway and municipal construction. Candidate must have excellent communication skills including writing.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.29 - $34.07 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
Experience:
IDOT Construction Inspectors: 6 years (Required)
License/Certification:
Current IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities (Required)
Work Location: In person
