The City of Laconia is seeking an experienced individual to project costs, draft construction documents and inspect various public and private infrastructure improvement projects along with other construction/ engineering technician responsibilities.

Position requires knowledge of principles and practices of construction, Excel, GIS, Laser Level, AutoCAD, word processing and data-based software, basic budgetary principles and practices and the ability to plan. Must have knowledge of applicable state, federal and local laws, rules and regulations.

Starting rate will be based on the candidate's skills and experience.

Positions Salary Range $27.75-41.97 (Steps 1-15)

Starting Salary Range $27.75-29.44 (Steps 1-3)

Minimum Qualifications include three (3) years of experience related to the construction, repair and maintenance of roads and underground utilities. High School diploma or GED and one to two years of progressively responsible related experience, in the construction trades or any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job.
