Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard software and tools. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of supervising teams, managing project schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project milestones and deadlines Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide onsite activities Oversee quality control measures to ensure adherence to industry standards and client requirements Monitor safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety meetings Assist in budgeting and cost control by tracking material usage and labor hours Conduct site inspections using tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues when necessary

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising construction sites Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, and project scheduling (Primavera P6 preferred) Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or similar tools Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols on construction sites Demonstrated experience in managing contracts, project scope, and quality control processes Supervising experience with a track record of leading successful teams in demanding environments Knowledge of pipeline construction is a plus but not required Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members
