Monkey in the Metal is looking for a skilled, hands-on

Foreman

with strong commercial construction experience and a sharp eye for interior details. If you're a natural leader who thrives on delivering precision-built interiors and enjoys turning design visions into reality, we want you on our team.

We bring one-of-a-kind furniture, architectural elements, signage, and art to life across multifamily, commercial, institutional, and public spaces. What You'll Do:




Lead on-site teams to execute high-end commercial interior projects, including retail, restaurant, office, and mixed-use spaces. Coordinate with designers, GCs, and internal teams to translate design intent into buildable, finished results. Manage daily site operations, subcontractors, materials, and timelines. Interpret drawings, specs, and custom fabrication details with precision. Ensure safety protocols, cleanliness, and site standards are met. Problem-solve field conditions and communicate updates to stakeholders. Oversee installation of custom fabricated components - wood, metal, and hybrid features.



What We're Looking For:




5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role. Strong knowledge of commercial interior construction methods, finishes, and buildout sequencing. Experience working with custom fabrication or architectural millwork is a major plus. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical shop drawings. A calm, focused leader who can coordinate crews, juggle moving parts, and maintain quality. Comfortable with tools, field equipment, and hands-on work when needed. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.



What We Offer:




Full-Time position Competitive salary, starting at

$60,000 - $75,000
