Job Overview: Construction Estimator (Residential Concrete & Home Renovation Projects)

Location: Kansas City Metropolitan Area

Position Type: Part-Time (with potential for Full-Time advancement)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Construction Estimator to join our growing residential construction and renovation team in the Kansas City metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will specialize in estimating residential concrete projects -- including driveways, foundations, slabs, patios, and decorative concrete -- while also supporting home renovation and property improvement estimates.

As part of our team, you'll play a key role in assessing project requirements, preparing accurate bids, and coordinating with clients, suppliers, and crews to ensure every job runs smoothly from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with project managers and field crews to confirm scopes of work and timelines. Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing and expectations. Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project documentation. Assist with scheduling and budgeting on active jobs as needed.
Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in residential concrete and/or construction estimating. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost analysis. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in estimating and documentation. Effective communication and leadership abilities for coordinating with crews and clients. Reliability and punctuality -- must be able to meet deadlines consistently. Competent with basic digital tools (Excel, Google Sheets, estimating or CRM software preferred). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (occasional site visits required).

Pay: $25.00 - $37.94 per hour
