Job Description

The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates and coordinating with project teams to ensure successful project completion. This role is based in Milford, NH, and requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytic skills.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop accurate budgets and proposals.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and construction methods.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor bids for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and client expectations.
• Provide ongoing support during the project lifecycle, including budget adjustments as needed.

A successful Estimator should have:

• 5+ years in Estimating position
• Experience with projects up to $20M
• A background in construction, particularly in cost estimation or project analysis.
• Strong proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• The ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members.
• A proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities.
