W Squared Construction is a fast-growing General Contractor based in Las Vegas, specializing in high-profile hospitality, casino, and commercial construction projects. Our portfolio features hotel remodels, restaurant build-outs, casino renovations, and ground-up developments across major properties and resorts.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our Preconstruction Team and play a key role in developing accurate, competitive bids for some of the most recognizable projects in Las Vegas.

Position Overview

As a Construction Estimator, you will collaborate closely with ownership, project managers, and subcontractors to prepare precise and detailed estimates that drive project success. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and has a strong background in hospitality and commercial estimating within the Las Vegas market.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates for hospitality, casino, and commercial projects Review architectural plans, specifications, and addenda for accurate takeoffs Utilize On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and ProEst for digital estimating Collaborate with project teams to develop scopes of work and cost breakdowns Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing Develop conceptual estimates and hard bids; assist in proposal preparation Perform value-engineering analyses and identify cost-saving opportunities Analyze historical data and cost trends for budgeting and forecasting Maintain organized bid records, revisions, and estimate documentation

Requirements

5+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction Proven background working with General Contractors Experience in hospitality, hotel, casino, and tenant-improvement (TI) projects Proficiency in OST, ProEst, and Microsoft Excel (Procore Financials a plus) Familiarity with construction scheduling, timelines, and sequencing Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously Solid understanding of the Las Vegas subcontractor market Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Experience with Procore, PlanGrid, or similar construction management tools Background in budgeting, conceptual estimating, and design-build proposals
