Our Opportunity

Immediate opening for a Construction Estimator. The Construction Estimator will assist in the preparation of budgets for multifamily, commercial and residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimation/take off of square footage for multi family developments for a specialty concrete subcontractor (Gyp-Crete and exterior pump mix). Download digital plans and perform take off of square footage of items within our scope. Enter into estimating software and provide bid proposal. Communicate via email and phone with contractors, PM, estimators and architects as needed in order to acquire correct information in order to provide a accurate take off and bid proposal. Ability to multitask and work with critical time restraints to provide bids before deadline. Work with sales staff on bid process. Coordinate Material and Labor takeoffs in Estimating database

Ideal candidate should have:

1 - 3 years experience College Degree a plus Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Computer Aided Design, Blueprint reading Working knowledge of Planswift a plus Enjoy working independently and multitasking in a deadline-oriented department Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills necessary.
