Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in preparing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing bid proposals, and supporting project planning efforts. Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other project documents. Utilize estimating software such as ProCore and Bluebeam to develop accurate pricing models. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to negotiate bids and ensure competitive pricing. Conduct thorough analysis of project scope, materials, labor costs, and schedules to optimize cost control strategies. Review and interpret contracts, change orders, and project specifications to ensure estimates align with contractual obligations. Assist in the development of bid proposals and presentations for potential clients. Support construction site teams by providing cost-related insights during project execution. Monitor ongoing project costs and assist in managing budgets to prevent overruns. Stay updated on industry trends, material prices, and labor rates to maintain accurate estimates.

Skills

Proficiency with Bluebeam, ProCore, and other construction estimating software tools. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with subcontractors and suppliers. Extensive knowledge of construction estimating processes, including cost control and pricing strategies. Hands-on construction site experience to better understand field conditions impacting estimates. Familiarity with construction management principles, contracts, and project management methodologies. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost analysis. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications effectively. Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
