Job Description

High Road Construction is a General Contractor based in Coral Gables, Florida. We are construction management professionals that oversee a considerable number of construction projects in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. We pride ourselves on doing quality work, having an excellent reputation, serving amazing clients, working with top-notch subcontractors and having fun.We are looking for an Construction Administrator (the "CA") to perform a variety of tasks. The CA will report to and work closely with the President of the Company and help manage the Company as a whole. The CA will regularly interact with the Company's project managers, clients, subcontractors and various government agencies. The CA will contribute significantly to the growth and profitability of the Company and will receive bonuses as the Company successfully completes projects. Task management is a huge component of the construction business. The CA must be a fanatic about completing tasks assigned to the CA as well as tracking tasks assigned to others for completion.NOTE: This position generally works remotely, but the ideal candidate is located in the South Miami-Dade area to be available for occasional in-person tasks and meetings.NOTE: This position can accommodate candidates needing fixed or flexible work hours.Responsibilities

  • Support all Project Managers
  • Communicate or meet virtually with Owner on a daily basis.
  • Act as the point of contact for clients, subcontractor and other business partners.
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage calendars and set up meetings.
  • Track certain expenses and prepare weekly, monthly reports.
  • Prepare contracts, subcontracts and other documents as needed.
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain the online filing system.
  • Update certain databases.
  • Gather information to prepare bids to clients.
  • Oversee the Task Management system (currently "Todoist")
Skills Required
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Spanish.
  • Work experience as a Construction Administrator.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Fanatic about completing tasks.
  • Great attitude and willingness to learn new things.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and project or construction management software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must consistently personal and professional GROWTH.
