Position Overview

The

Accounts Receivable Specialist

will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts receivable activities, ensuring accurate billing, timely payments, and compliance with construction industry requirements. This role requires proficiency in

Sage 100

, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and process customer invoices in

Sage 100

. Manage

progress billings, change orders, retention invoices, and lien waivers

. Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and follow up with clients. Reconcile AR accounts and generate aging reports. Coordinate with project managers to resolve billing discrepancies. Maintain accurate financial records and support

month-end close processes

.
Qualifications

5+ years

of Accounts Receivable experience in the

construction industry

(or closely related field). Proficiency in

Sage 100

(required). Strong understanding of

construction billing practices

, including lien waivers and retention tracking. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
