Job Description

Join our team! Developers Paving Company is seeking a full-time Concrete Laborer. This position is responsible for assisting with the preparation, placement, finishing, and curing of concrete for construction projects. This role involves working as part of a crew to ensure concrete work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.

Responsibilities Include:

Assist with form setting, layout, and site preparation for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, and other concrete structures. Mix, pour, spread, and level concrete using hand tools and power tools. Place and secure rebar, wire mesh, and other reinforcements as required. Operate equipment such as concrete saws, power trowels, and screeds under supervision. Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using trowels, floats, and brooms. Maintain clean and safe job sites by removing debris, cleaning tools, and following company safety procedures. Follow instructions from foreman and work as part of a team to meet project deadlines. Assist in setting up forms and dismantling them after concrete has cured. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in concrete or general construction preferred, but willing to train the right candidate; Basic understanding of concrete tools, materials, and finishing techniques; Ability to read and follow instructions and safety guidelines; Strong attention to detail and quality of work; Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent bending, kneeling, standing, and walking; Ability to work in all weather conditions.
