Concrete Laborer Job Summary The ideal Concrete Laborer at CL Construction will be driven, motivated, willing to take direction and work well with others. The crews are responsible for all tasks related to the processes of prepping, pouring, and finishing concrete including setting forms, tying rebar, pouring concrete, smoothing, and finishing the pour. These tasks may include the use of manual and powered hand tools. Concrete crews work from jobsites daily and must represent the company positively by showing appropriate behavior, adhering to safety standards, following Superintendent direction, and maintaining predictable and reliable attendance. Duties and Responsibilities

• Arrive to work, times, dates, and locations, as scheduled
• Prepare jobsites. including grading, squaring, tying rebar or mesh, designing, building, and setting up forms
• Pouring concrete. Including manually moving concrete with wheelbarrow, shovels, and other tools to spread and smooth the surface
• Finish Concrete. Using finishing brooms, floats, edgers, and other manual and power tools
• Work with team members to product a quality finished product on time
• Delegate tasks to concrete laborers and provide overall guidance
• Clean and maintain the jobsite
• Adhere to all company regulations including attendance, attire, behavior, and safety

Skills, Qualifications, and Education Requirements

• Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred, exclusive English or Spanish accepted
• Knowledge or previous experience with concrete or construction processes preferred
• Knowledge or awareness of agricultural structures preferred
• Must be able to read a tape measure, understand a level and use powered and hand tools
• Ability to perform manual tasks such as kneeling, bending, twisting, lifting, and carrying objects
• Strength and ability to work frequently with hands and hand tools
• Ability to push and lift at least 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally
• Be able to stand and work on your feet for the duration of your shift
• Must be able to work in outdoor conditions in all types of weather including dusty and loud environments
