Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including finishing, forming, and installation. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality standards in all concrete projects while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand and power tools to achieve a smooth and even finish. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Perform concrete forming and rebar installation as required for various projects. Operate concrete mixers and pumps to prepare materials for pouring. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks such as caulking, plastering, and trim carpentry. Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials on construction sites. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards. Conduct restoration and renovation work as needed, including masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, and stucco application. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety guidelines.

Requirements

Proven experience in concrete finishing with a strong understanding of construction processes. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. Familiarity with construction estimating practices and project management. Experience in hardscape design and installation is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday. Strong skills in carpentry, including frame carpentry and metal stud framing. Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. Previous experience on construction sites is essential; familiarity with safety regulations is required.
