Job Description

:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our team for a seasonal position. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the finishing of concrete surfaces, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to understand project requirements. Prepare concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete using hand tools, trowels, floats, and edgers. Set forms, align, and secure as needed for pouring concrete. Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as power trowels, screeds, and floats. Apply finishing techniques to achieve the desired surface texture, including broom finishes, stamping, or polishing. Monitor curing processes and ensure proper curing techniques are followed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleanup of tools and materials. Follow all safety protocols and wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE). Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specifications.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in concrete finishing or construction preferred but not required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

Must pass a drug test and background check. Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
