Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Cutter & Quality Control Technician to join our team. This hybrid position is responsible for cutting all newly poured concrete, inspecting completed work for quality, identifying issues during or after cutting, and either repairing those issues directly or reporting them to management. When not performing cutting or quality control tasks, this team member will assist with concrete pours and general crew support.

Duties

Perform all concrete cutting on newly poured slabs, walls, and structures. Conduct detailed quality inspections of finished concrete work. Identify imperfections, inconsistencies, or structural concerns during cutting. Correct small to medium-sized issues independently when possible. Report major issues or concerns to management promptly. Assist with concrete pours and site preparation as needed. Maintain cutting equipment and ensure tools are used safely and efficiently. Follow all company safety protocols and jobsite standards.

Qualifications

Experience in concrete cutting and/or concrete finishing required. Strong knowledge of concrete curing, consistency, and structural quality standards. Ability to recognize and correct small- to medium-sized concrete issues. Comfortable operating saws and other cutting equipment. Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work well with a team. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions.

Preferred Skills

Experience in quality control or inspection is a plus. Ability to operate additional construction equipment. Strong communication skills for reporting issues to management.

Pay: $24.37 - $29.35 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
