Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various concrete-related tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various construction projects. Operate concrete mixers and other heavy equipment as needed. Perform concrete forming, including setting up forms and ensuring proper alignment. Engage in frame carpentry tasks as required for project renovations. Execute caulking and sealing of joints to ensure durability and weather resistance. Collaborate with team members to lift heavy materials and assist in flooring installation. Conduct drywall installation and finishing as part of the overall project scope. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout the job site. Participate in construction estimating processes to ensure accurate project planning.

Qualifications

Previous experience in concrete labor or related construction fields is preferred. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment safely and effectively. Strong skills in frame carpentry, drywall installation, and flooring installation are advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the workday. Familiarity with construction estimating practices is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to completing tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving on-site.
