This role involves monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and responding promptly to security incidents. Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or safety hazards Control access points by verifying credentials and managing visitor check-ins Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring first aid or CPR if certified Enforce loss prevention policies by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency services when required Manage conflict situations with professionalism, ensuring the safety of all individuals involved Implement security protocols and procedures to prevent unauthorized access or theft

Skills

First aid and CPR certification are highly desirable Background in law enforcement, military service, or previous security roles preferred Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to recognize potential safety hazards and respond appropriately Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, visitors, and emergency responders Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices Ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly and professionally
