We are seeking a friendly, professional Concierge / Host to enhance guest experiences at our luxury resort. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and warmth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, utilizing excellent communication and guest relations skills to create memorable stays for our visitors. Must be bilingual, personable, and commited to guest satisfaction. A background in hospitality are highly valued.
Duties
Greet and engage with guests during breakfast and beyond
Provide personalized guest services, including restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, and local recommendations
Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Manage guest requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
Engage with guests using our texting platform
Collaborate with other departments such as housekeeping and maintenance, to fulfill guest needs
Engage with guests and solve any issues guests may have during their stay
Uphold excellent phone etiquette and communication skills during all guest interactions
Follow-up on VIP guests
Inspect rooms for VIP guests
Engage with guests in a way that elevates our guests experience to the next level by being friendly, helpful, and making recommendations and assisting with guests needs during their stay.
Must be available during early morning as the work shift is from 7am-330p.
Experience
Previous experience in hotel front desk operations, hospitality, or restaurant service is preferred but not necessary for the right candidate.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to assist a diverse clientele
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest relations best practices are valued
Experience working in hotels or with guest services is a plus
Familiarity with local attractions and services will enhance the quality of guest recommendations
