Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Cutting Machine Operator

to operate our

Gerber DCS2500

CNC cutting machine, which is equipped with a

Mirisys Leather

nesting and scanning system. This role is vital to maintaining production efficiency and quality in our leather and fabric cutting operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the

Gerber DCS2500

automatic cutting machine with

Mirisys Leather

system. Load hides, scan and nest patterns for optimal material usage. Execute daily cutting jobs based on production schedules. Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment. Accurately label and organize cut parts for downstream production. Communicate with the design and production teams to ensure cut accuracy and job specifications. Troubleshoot minor machine or software issues.

Requirements

Experience with leather or textile cutting in a production environment. Basic computer skills and comfort with CNC interface software. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to stand, bend, and lift materials throughout the shift.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience operating CNC cutting machines (preferably DCS2500). Familiarity with

Mirisys Leather cutting and nesting software

is a strong plus. Knowledge of upholstery or automotive interior parts. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
