Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Local Technician to support the daily operation and maintenance of crypto mining facility in Butte, Montana. If you are tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and enjoy troubleshooting hardware, this role may be a great fit.

Responsibilities

Perform miner installation and removal, complete daily maintenance tasks, and ensure all operational targets are met. Diagnose and repair common miner issues (hashboard errors, PDU problems, wiring, fans, overheat). Replace faulty parts such as fans, network cables, and hashboards. Set up, configure, and optimize mining equipment as required. Monitor system performance and maintain accurate logs of machine status and repairs. Submit daily work reports and operation logs to ensure accurate and clear recordkeeping. Communicate with remote management to report issues and carry out work orders. Assist with rack installation, cable management, and basic electrical/airflow troubleshooting. Assist with periodic miner inventory, documenting and tracking part replacements.

Job Requirements

Must be

locally based in Butte, MT

and able to commute reliably. Experience with computers, or similar hardware strongly preferred. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. Basic understanding of networking (IP settings, routers/switches). Able to lift 40-50 lbs occasionally (moving miners, power supplies, etc.). Good communication skills; able to coordinate with site staff and remote managers. Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently without constant supervision. Willing to follow safety procedures and maintain proper documentation.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
