Summary of Job Duties: The Computer Support Technician (CST) provides support to the College of Education and Health Profession technology infrastructure.

Hardware Support
Install, configure, and maintain technology for any and all college technology. You will be working on computers, displays, digital document cameras, digital projectors, and the systems that control them as well as printers.

Software Support
Install, upgrade, and update Windows-based software used in college facilities.

Inventory and Surplus Support
Assist in managing the college\'s technology inventory including proper lawful disposal of surplus assets.

Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a bachelor\'s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field

OR

Completion of technical training in computer science, information technology, or a related field acquired from a vocational, military, or industrial setting

Plus at least one year of experience in computer support

Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the above qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in computer hardware support

Experience in computer software support

Experience in computer hardware inventory and surplus processes

Experience in customer service

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of and skilled at various forms of Audio/Video equipment

Possess computer and related hardware skills

Possess troubleshooting skills

Ability to interface with diverse users in stressful situations
