The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine - Ronald Reagan Clinical Laboratory is seeking to hire a Computer Resource Manager. Major responsibilities include:

• Provide computer expertise and support to UCLA Clinical Labs, which may include Santa Monica Hospital, West Valley Hospital, and Ronald Reagan.

• Resolve problems with database/software in conjunction with computer system personnel

• Build data reports and perform data procurement

• Consult with lab personnel to solve technical and operational problems

• Manage Laboratory Information Systems and Learning Management Systems

• Manage computer equipment (e.g. PCs, laptops, accessories)

• Coordinate requests for phone and internet (e.g. phone updates and replacements, phone access and security requirements, internet)

Salary Range: $86,400.00 - $184,800.00/year
Qualifications

• Recent experience working in or with a clinical laboratory is required.

• Understanding of clinical laboratory processing, testing, and reporting is essential.

• Proficiency in using clinical Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)/Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), EPIC EMR, and Beaker, is required.

• General knowledge of database report writing tools (e.g. Tableau, Crystal Reports) - preferred

• Familiarity of SQL, Visual Basic, HTML, Microsoft systems (e.g. Access, Excel, Visio, Edge) and Adobe systems - preferred
