As a Computer Resource Manager, you will provide essential computer expertise and support to the BURL clinical laboratory and its draw sites. Your primary duties will include:

• Resolving database and software issues in collaboration with UCLA Health ISS.

• Building data reports and performing data procurement.

• Consulting with lab personnel to address technical and operational problems.

• Managing all Laboratory Information Systems.

• Overseeing computer equipment (e.g. PCs, laptops, accessories)

• Coordinating requests for phone and internet services, including updates, replacements, access, and security requirements.

Salary Range: $86,400.00 - $184,800.00/year
Qualifications

• Recent experience working in or with a clinical laboratory.

• Strong understanding of clinical laboratory processing, testing, and reporting.

• Proficiency in using clinical Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)/Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

• Skilled in developing and testing reports for LIS.

• Strong ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

• General knowledge of database report writing tools (e.g. Tableau, Crystal Reports) - preferred

• Familiarity of SQL, Visual Basic, HTML, Microsoft systems (e.g. Access, Excel, Visio, Edge) and Adobe systems - preferred
