Manage overall operations of the Corporation's finances including the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including but not limited to monthly financial statements and audits of client accounts.
Reconciliation and direct preparation of financial statements, accounts, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, or reports required by regulatory agencies. Perform disbursement activities ensuring the accurate and timely process of accounts payable, purchase orders, employee expense reports, payroll processing and corporate payroll tax compliance. Managing the production and accuracy of financial documents, such as balance sheets and income statements.
Monitoring actual spending versus budgetary allotments, and regular reporting positive and negative variances to CEO and key executives. Ensure corporate tax form compliance to assure accurate and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns taking full advance of all favorable tax codes.
Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports as directed by the CEO and/or executives.
Communicate with executive management, other team members, clients and others in a positive, courteous, and professional manner.
Confirm with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
Initiate, plan, implement, assist and follow-up on special projects to meet unexpected demands of the Corporation. Supervise Accounting Assistant(s).
Secondary Responsibilities:
Facilitate effective communication with other team members in the Corporation, participate in and contribute to team meetings and the development of policies and procedures.
Participate as an active member of the team, in the development of departmental policies and procedures and long-term strategic planning, and function as an effective team member to enhance overall service provision and interunit staff collaboration.
Regular contact with staff of other units within the facility and CRF to integrate unit operations.
Regular significant contact with regulated government agency personnel regarding revenue, reporting and record keeping.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA/CPA preferred.
Ten years of hands-on accounting managerial experience, including five years supervisory experience.
Knowledge of human resources administration and office management systems.
Experience with budget analysis, forecasting, spreadsheet and financial analysis software.
Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Ability to act as financial liaison between the Corporation, its clients and investors.
Ability to proficiently and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of office systems; MS-Office and advanced Excel. Prior experience with payroll processing software such as Paylocity. Ability to maintain confidentiality of Corporation's financial posture, including investments and acquisitions.
