This position is in Marietta, Georgia \xc3\x80 Discover Marietta.

YOUR IMPACT
You will immediately support programs critical to our nation\xe2\x80\x99s defense in this role. You will have the ability to impact core business imperatives as Standard parts are a cornerstone to design, production, and sustainment as you positively strengthen relationships and create trust as you frequently collaborate with varying stakeholders. With your familiarity with engineering requirements and the selection of wire, cable, connectors, and backshells, you may be sought after for ingenious solutions to complex problems while also guiding and mentoring junior engineers.
Beyond that, you may also find yourself:

  • Impacting the ownership of standard parts in support of wire harness design and production
  • Owning the control standard part configuration through the preparation and release of program standard part drawings and revision level control of vendor standard part drawings specific to electric aircraft equipment.
  • Supporting conceptual and layout design phases with standard parts expertise.
  • Promoting product quality through qualification of suppliers, maintenance of authorized supplier list, and coordination with the quality department on standard part quality issues.
  • Mitigating part procurement schedule impacts through vendor coordination, technical inputs, alternate suppliers, action request resolution, and substitution documentation.
  • Supporting production through investigation and resolution of standard part-related issues impacting manufacturing.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Experience working with military aircraft wire/cable/connectors
  • Knowledge of standard part military and industry standards, drawings, test specifications, and qualified parts lists
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with fiber
  • EEE experience
  • Catia or 3DX Modeling experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with an investigation within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
