Job Overview:
The Compliance Officer ensures Brighter Futures remains compliant with internal and external foster care expectations and requirements. The Compliance Officers ensures clients' health and safety through managing and monitoring a team of foster homes. This role works closely with all agency departments to collect documentation and verify it meets compliance standards.
General Responsibilities:
Must adhere and enforce the Agency's policies and procedures to work cooperatively with the Division of Child and Family Services, Office of Licensing, Juvenile Court and other governing agencies.
Must understand agree, and abide by all requirements regarding client confidentiality as provided by the State of Utah.
Scans and files proctor parent and client documents to online filing system while reviewing all documents for accuracy.
Works with team members to prepare for annual audit review and coordinate with state workers as needed.
Must stay apprised of contract and rule requirement changes.
Coordinates with foster families to ensure lic ensure requirements do not expire such as Agency paperwork, ongoing training, certifications ( CP R/First Aid, Mandt, Food Handlers), etc .
Assists foster families and employees in submitting fingerprints and background checks in- office.
Maintains client file compliance by coordinating with Agency team members to complete service notes, support strategies, person centered support plans, and other required documents.
Participates in weekly quality assurance meetings. Reports on compliance of proctors and clients to admin.
Ensures client budgets are used appropriately by reviewing documentation and monthly expenditure receipts.
Ensures c lient health and safety is maintained by collecting health visit reports and communicating medical appointment reminders to foster families, as necessary.
Reviews and files monthly compliance packet submitted by each assigned foster family.
Attends " Client Placement" meetings to ensure intakes, client specific training, and Agency service scheduling is completed.
Assists in disbursing checks to foster families and employees by reviewing compliance measures are met.
Assists in other miscellaneous tasks, as required.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
