We are actively seeking an experienced Compliance Coordinator for a non-exempt position to join our team at the Corporate Office located in Birmingham, AL.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Performs routine compliance auditing/monitoring.
  • Distributes and reviews exit questionnaires and summarizes findings monthly/quarterly.
  • Distributes and reviews Compliance Leadership Certifications and Conflict of Interest Disclosure statements.
  • Assists with aggregate monitoring and reporting of treatment quality indicators such as effect measurement tools and organizational benchmarks such as incident management, infection control, and medication management.
  • Assists in organizational performance improvement plan formulation, deployment, and monitoring relevant to licensure and accreditation.
  • Assists with monitoring completion rates of staff training as it relates to relevant annual or ad hoc training assignments.
  • Assists in other HR monitoring activities related to employee engagement or exit surveys related to safety and compliance.
  • Administration of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s primary learning system including profile creation, course assignment, and periodic reporting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, behavioral sciences, or relevant field of study
  • Minimum of two years experience in a compliance, quality control, or auditing position preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to effectively utilize the application for data aggregation and analysis.
  • Comfortable working with the public
  • Be an example of our core values daily and hold yourself accountable to Bradford standards and policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with staff, members of management, and patients and families.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality, including a working knowledge of CFR \xe2\x80\x9cHealth Insurance Portability and Accountability Act\xe2\x80\x9d and 42 C.F.R. Part 2 \xe2\x80\x9cConfidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patient Records\xe2\x80\x9d with respect to patient and potential patient identifying information and health information. This position has unrestricted access to identifying information and health information concerning patients, potential patients and participants.
  • Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, must not appear impaired or disoriented, but rather must present coherent and articulate speech, kept appearance, alert, oriented, and responsive to patients\xe2\x80\x99 and families\xe2\x80\x99 needs and concerns.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of substance use and substance use disorders preferred.
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills and typing proficiency.
  • Regular attendance; including conference calls and onsite meetings, as necessary
  • Pass criminal and exclusion background check(s)
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • If recovering, must have two (2) years of continuous abstinence.
