Job Description

We are looking for

caring and compassionate Caregivers

to provide assistance with daily living and personal care services in accordance with an established Support Plan. Our agency offers a variety of

non-medical services

that allow individuals with disabilities to remain in their homes and enjoy being active in their communities.

Hours:

Schedules vary based on consumer needs.

Every Tuesday, Every other Friday, Every other weekend (opposite of Friday schedule): 9 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities:

Assist individuals with activities of daily living Attend medical appointments Help change Ostomies One person Hoyer Lift Bed Baths Provide assistance with bathing and dressing Offer companionship and engage in social and recreational activities Prompt and assist with household tasks such as laundry, cooking, and cleaning Support community outings (shopping, walking, and other activities) Observe and report any changes in consumer condition Complete daily documentation accurately and timely

Requirements and Skills:

Caring and compassionate personality Ability to engage consumers in conversation and activities Minimum of one year of experience (required) High school diploma or equivalent (required) Current

CPR certification

(must be from

American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute only

) Current

First Aid training

Valid driver's license and

must have your own transportation

Ability to pass a

Level 2 background check

Physical stamina to assist with mobility and community activities
