Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated FEMALE Caregiver/Companion to provide companionship for senior female with moderate dementia. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life. Please be aware that this position is for an Independent Contractor and you will be 1099. Also a Bond will be required.

Responsibilities

Engage parent in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Assist with mobility and transportation needs as required. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for parent by adhering to hygiene standards. Document care provided and report any changes in condition to the appropriate person. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.

Skills

Experience in home community care or group home settings is preferred. Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques is essential. Familiarity with working with individuals who have dementia. Ability to administer medications safely and effectively. Understanding of assisted living environments and dementia care practices. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
