Affinity Home Care is a boutique concierge agency providing in-home care services throughout New York City and Long Island!

We are hiring

compassionate

CAREGIVERS & COMPANIONS to provide non-medical support to our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)

Helping the client with bathing, grooming, and hygiene. Dressing and undressing the client. Toileting and incontinence care. Mobility Assistance (transferring, walking support)

2. Household Support

Light Housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying rooms) Meal Preparation and feeding assistance. Grocery shopping and errands. Pet care (if needed)

3. Companionship

Engaging in conversation. Participating in hobbies and activities. Providing emotional support and social interaction. Accompanying the client to appointments or outings.

4. Medication Reminders

Reminding (but not administering) medications according to schedule.

5. Safety and Supervision

Monitoring for safety hazards. Helping prevent falls. Ensuring a secure environment.

6. Communication and Reporting

Updating family members on the client's well-being. Reporting changes in health or behavior to supervisors or family.

Requirements

Previous experience as a companion/caregiver (preferred)
